Children who play Oztag will learn teamwork, develop confidence, self-respect & self-esteem. Our club’s goal is to create and enjoyable environment which will assist your kids to enjoy there sporting experience and help them grow both on and off the field.

Competition Details

Please take note of the details below as they are important to make sure your child has an easy transition into each season they play.

Teams & Individuals Welcome!

Individual players or small groups are welcome. We will help you find a team OR fill your team where possible.

To nominate a team, please email gladstonejuniors@oztag.com before round 1 - Please note teams spaces are limited so register ASAP. All teams must be registered 1 week prior to season commencing.  Teams must have minimum 11 registered players to be included on round 1 draw. 8 players take the field.

Divisions Available

Mixed Under 7s–15s 

  • Teams must have a minimum of 11 players registered per team.
  • 8 players are allowed on the field at one time. Please note the following rules for each age division.  
    • Under 7’s, 9’s and 11’s (3 girls & maximum 5 boys on the field)
    • Under 13’s, and U15’s (4 girls & maximum 4 boys on the field)

  • The number of girls on the field can vary, up to the total of 8 players however you cannot exceed the amount of boy players as specified above.

  • Players are allowed to register to play up an age division, but cannot play down.

  • Only registered players are permitted to take the field — no casual players are allowed in our junior competition.

Game Days, Times, & Results

Days: Every Tuesday from 8th of September to 24th of November (excluding school Holidays). This may change slightly if impacted by weather throughout the season.

Times: starting from 4pm (last time slot will vary depending on referee availability and amount of teams)

Cost

  • $95 per player for each season played - team must have a minimum of 11 players, or pay the equivalent
  • $25 Yearly Subscription fee (one payment anually)

Season Length

Season consists of 10 Rounds.

 

School Holidays

We do not play through the school holidays.

 

Uniform

Only Official Oztag shorts/tights to be worn during games. Players may be asked to leave the field if this requirement is not met. Team shirts are to be arranged by team delegate and can be sourced from external suppliers.
